To sample the ever-growing arts culture in Richmond all in one night, this Friday is your chance. Start with the First Friday Art Walk, with new exhibitions at Gallery5, the Ghostprint Gallery, Quirk, 1708, and ADA Gallery at 6 p.m. Then you can continue the evening at the Renaissance for WRIR’s 10th annual Party for the Rest of Us. The wildly eclectic fundraiser features plenty of music — infamous hometown punkers Ann Beretta, keepers of the ska flame, Murphy’s Kids, and the a cappella group R.A.M.ifications of Virginia Commonwealth University. Plus, there will be sets by the Dave Watkins Big Band, Bermuda Triangles, Ki:Theory, Navi, Dumb Waiter and the Sam Reed Syndicate. Oh yeah, and square dancing, a performance by Classical Revolution RVA, music and puppetry with Huckiddy, and DJ sets by many of station’s culture pushers. The night of infinite sounds begins at 7. Admission is $15. wrir.org.
