Jan. 27: Introduction to Weaving Jan. 28: Introduction to Weaving Feb. 3: Introduction to Weaving Feb. 4: Advanced Weaving Noon - 3 p.m. for each day Description: Kate Koconis of Little Black Sheep Studio is teaching four weaving classes at Quirk. Over two weekends, she is offering three introduction and one advanced class. In the introduction classes, students will learn the basic weaving techniques Koconis uses when creating her one-of-a-kind blankets, pillows, hanging planters and wall hangings. In the advanced class Koconis will teach techniques with an emphasis on shape design. Anyone new to weaving is welcome to sign up for the introduction classes. Anyone who has taken her class in the past or who has previous weaving experience is welcome to sign up for the advanced class. At the end of each workshop you will get to take home your own weaving.
