A random drawing from a stoneware bowl decided a hotly contested Virginia House of Delegates race today at the Patrick Henry Building in Richmond, with major implications for the political balance of power in the state. GOP incumbent David Yancey was declared the winner over Democrat Shelly Simonds, who has not yet conceded and may still challenge which would continue this drawn-out race in the 94th district.
