The third annual Ramadan Interfaith Potluck Iftar in support of ANERA will be held at Bon Air Presbyterian Church on Saturday, May 18th at 7:30 pm. Once again, Richmonders for Peace in Israel-Palestine and the Arab American Association of Central Virginian will be raising money for a deserving organization, ANERA (American Near East Refugee Aid). ANERA provides services to Palestinian refugees living in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon, and the need is even greater this year. This is always a wonderful opportunity for the entire community to come together to mingle and share a meal with old and new friends. This year’s entertainment will be traditional Arabic music by oud player and vocalist, Muath Edriss. This is a free event – just bring a dish, but we encourage you to also donate to ANERA at the event.
