The Swine and Brine Festival at Ardent Craft Ales

Friday, April 10

For meat eaters, the three-way of booze, seafood and pork is a union made in heaven. Now that spring’s finally here, there will be an outdoor wedding bonding the trio of taste sensations together in tasty, finger-licking marital bliss on Friday, April 10. The Swine and Brine Festival at Ardent Craft Ales offers culinary delights for the nuptials from the Roosevelt, Metzger Bar and Butchery, Saison and ZZQ, with out-of-town guests Rappahannock Oyster Co. bringing taste sensations from the Chesapeake Bay. To help wash it down, Ardent will have 12 of its distinctive brews on tap, and Richmond food stand King of Pops will have a bevy of homemade dessert options to satisfy any and all sweet teeth. The ceremony of palate stimulations runs 4-8 p.m. Tickets are $18. Call 359-1605 or visit ardentcraftales.com.
