If there’s one thing people can’t get enough of on Halloween — or in general — it’s zombies. Richmond is no exception with its seventh annual Richmond Zombie Walk, where a flesh-eating mob will stroll the streets of Carytown, groaning and looking for fresh brains. Once the undead finish their after-dinner stroll, patrons are advised to head over to the Byrd Theatre for the RVA Zombie Film Festival, featuring zombie-themed movies including “Dawn of the Dead,” “28 Days Later,” “Shaun of the Dead” and “Evil Dead 2.” The Richmond Zombie Walk starts at the Kroger on West Cary Street around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday Oct. 29. The RVA Zombie Film Festival plays all day at the Byrd Theatre starting at 11 a.m. $5 per movie or $20 for an all-day pass. richmondzombiewalk.com.
