Listening to husband and wife Kagey Parrish and Laura Wortman, you can't imagine their tours require a great deal of heavy lifting. Armed with nothing more than a pair of acoustic guitars, with one occasionally swapped for a mandolin, the mountain-country traditionalists keep things tight, winding their focused vocal harmonies around simple, homegrown arrangements. Gaining recognition with appearances on “A Prairie Home Companion” and numerous songwriter competitions, Wortman and Parrish are charming minimalists. Supporting their debut, “If the Sun will Shine,” which was recorded live and mixed in a 1920s barn, the Honey Dewdrops are scheduled to perform Feb. 3 at Ashland Coffee and Tea at 7 p.m. $5.
