Teen-Designed MLiT Programs | Isaac Julien: Lessons of the Hour—Frederick Douglass

Workshops developed for and coordinated by teens in VMFA’s Museum Leaders in Training (MLiT) program are being held at different locations in January.
Join us for a series of special workshops developed for and coordinated by teens in VMFA’s Museum Leaders in Training (MLiT) program. These events will feature guest instructors and activities inspired by themes in VMFA’s exhibition "Isaac Julien: Lessons of the Hour—Frederick Douglass". Admission is open to adults and youth ages 13 and above. Space is limited. Tickets are required. Locations change weekly: Speechwriting (Jan 5, 2023) at VMFA; 19th-Century Women (Jan 12, 2023) at Black History Museum and Cultural Center of Virginia; and Photography & Film (Jan 19, 2023) at Oakwood Arts.
