A Concurrent National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA) Exhibition, BOJUart gallery is pleased to announce our Richmond pop-up exhibition Submerged. A dual exhibition with BOJUart ceramist Beth Lindenberger and visiting ceramic artist Donna Webb. Lindenberger and Webb use ceramic form to create a narrative by making porcelain sculpture in a symbolic interpretation of their response to interacting with water, its properties and qualities. In addition, other artists will showcase two-dimensional work related to the submerged theme in painting and photography. On March 11 NCECA cancelled the 2020 conference based on reported risk levels for COVID-19 infection.
