Among his many accomplishments, Thomas Jefferson is considered to be one of America’s first astronomers. Join Dr. Neal Sumerlin, former director of the Belk Astronomical Observatory at the Claytor Nature Study Center at Lynchburg University, on Jefferson’s south lawn for an illuminating look at the night sky.
