While the new year typically marks the beginning of the end for holiday decorations, Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden isn't planning to give up the holiday's aesthetic spirit so easily. Of course, if you had that many lights to bring down, you'd probably try to keep them up as long as possible, too. With its theme, Nature's Beautiful Web, featuring the requisite half-million LED lights and enough strands to be stretched more than 18 miles, Lewis Ginter's annual GardenFest of Lights still has two weeks left for guests to enjoy the type of illumination and intricate design presumably created with the help of some rare, incandescent loom. Open nightly, 5-10, through Jan. 12. Tickets are $4-$10. Call 262-9887, ext. 322, or visit www.lewisginter.org.
