Carl Jung once said, “The shoe that fits one person pinches another; there is no recipe for living that suits all cases.” The show “Sneakers on a Wire,” at the Artisan Café on Saturday, March 8, embodies that sentiment. Presented by the Richmond Prep School, this group exhibition explores the ongoing cultural significance of shoe ware in modern youth culture through its different forms and guises. Along with all the visual representations from artists in Richmond and Washington, Tru Blu will be spinning tunes to get feet moving. The shoe gazing begins at 6 p.m. Admission is $5. artisancafeva.com.
