When: Fridays-Sundays, 1-6 p.m. Continues through April 7 2019
A sound installation that brings to life the studies of biologist Kasey Fowler-Finn with spatial audio compositions of sound artist Stephen Vitiello. Fowler-Finn studies how temperature variation affects insect communication. Vitiello has created an immersive sound work in which sounds are grouped into chapters that reflect insect songs heard within different temperature ranges and set to a corresponding color scheme. A reception will follow a conversation between Fowler-Finn and Vitiello on April 6 at 4 p.m.
