Richmond Zine Fest at the Main Branch of the Richmond Public Library

Friday, Oct. 12 and Saturday, Oct. 13

The 12th annual Richmond Zine Fest features workshops, panels and talks on everything from illustrations and collages to food justice projects, body positivity, and even training on Narcan, the life-saving medicine delivered during opiate overdoses. According to its website, “Richmond Zine Fest organizers prioritizes the voices and presence of zine makers who are black, POC, LGBTQ, and/or have disabilities” and it would like to hear feedback if it isn’t meeting the priorities. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
