"The Man Behind the Suit" and “The March of the White Elephants” As waves of corruption crash around football’s international governing body, the film shows how FIFA prowls the globe, pocketing billions while leaving behind host countries with a legacy of economic debt, social distress and empty stadiums known as “white elephants.” Filmed during the dramatic protests against FIFA’s 2014 World Cup in Brazil, the story follows a crusading journalist as he documents the rising discontent of citizens, social justice activists, favela residents and football legend Romario to debunk the conventional wisdom that the World Cup is an economic boost for the host country. Directed by Craig Tanner. Produced by Neil Brandt.
