Richmond Ballet and Richmond Symphony Present 'Carmina Burana'

Set to Carl Orff’s masterful choral score, John Butler’s Carmina Burana is one of the most popular works in the Richmond Ballet repertory. Witness the brazen strength and hypnotizing passion behind Butler’s choreography in this groundbreaking ballet of the 20th century. Opening the program is the invigorating Thrive, Associate Artistic Director Ma Cong’s most recent work. This joyful ballet, set to music by modern British composer Oliver Davis, explores the depth and intensity of energetic human connections.
