Join a commemoration of the 100th anniversary of World War I, the Great War. The Meuse-Argonne Offensive began in September 1918 and continued right up until the Armistice of Nov. 11. As the most critical military contribution of the United States to the Allied cause, it also stands as one of the deadliest battles in all of American military history. This talk will explore the attacks of Pershing’s American Expeditionary Force and the vivid experiences of the doughboys who made them. Historian Michael Thomas will share the story of this important battle.
