Rappahannock Tribe Annual Harvest Festival and Pow Wow

When: Sat., Oct. 7, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sun., Oct. 8, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

YOU ARE INVITED TO SPEND TIME WITH US AS WE CELEBRATE OUR NATIVE AMERICAN HISTORY. Join us as we share our long history of traditional Harvest celebrations. Learn about Native American dancing, singing, food, homemade crafts, jewelry, and artwork. The Rappahannock Tribe is one of seven federally recognized sovereign nations in Virginia and were among the first to greet the English colonists and Captain John Smith in the 17th century. Ancestors of the present day tribe lived at several locations along the Rappahannock River, including what is now known as Belle Grove Plantation.
