Point-in-Time Count is a twice-yearly census hosted by Homeward to determine the number of people experiencing homelessness in the Richmond region. Homeward collects specific information about how we can better assist some of our region’s most vulnerable residents. The census takes place across the Greater Richmond region – with the cooperation of shelter providers, Departments of Social Services, and police. Training sessions will be held in advance. Please note: We ask that volunteers bring smart phones (or tablets with data plans) to allow us to conduct the survey electronically All volunteers must be 18+
