Join us for an introduction to 17th century hand sewing class where you will make a very simple product – a utility bag with a drawstring or a handkerchief. Material will be provided. Attendees must provide sewing needles, pins, white quilting weight cotton or linen thread, and small scissors. Instructor: John Pagano, Historical Interpretation Supervisor. Children aged 10+ may sign up with registered adult. Registration required by Jan. 31 by calling 804-748-1611. Limited space available. Bring your own lunch.
