Miramar, a Latin bolero sextet, will perform two live sets at In Your Ear Studios on Thursday Feb. 22. The second will feature string quartet members of the Richmond Symphony and Classical Revolution RVA. Core members of the band have strong Richmond roots via long-established bands Bio Ritmo and Quatro Na Bossa. As noted in a 2016 Style Weekly profile, Miramar has performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington and New York’s Lincoln Center offering a performance “achingly beautiful and ideally in-sync."
