When she isn’t beating the hell out of her opponents in Impact Wrestling, TNA Knockout — and hometown hero — Mickie James moonlights as a country singer. James’ first country music album, “Strangers and Angels,” gained a growing number of fans when her single, “Hardcore Country,” was used as her TNA theme song. Because of those fans, James’ Kickstarter campaign for her second album received more than $16,000 in pledges. She’s finishing up her yet-to-be-titled new album, which is set to drop sometime in 2012. Earlier Friday evening, James will appear with other Impact Wrestling stars at the Siegel Center (See here for details). Plus, it’s her birthday, so all bets are off on how crazy this party will get.
