Join internationally renowned conductor Jahja Ling and the Richmond Symphony in celebration of the Menuhin Competition Richmond 2021. Ling will be joined onstage by Angelo Xiang Yu, Senior 1st Prizewinner of the Menuhin Competition Oslo 2010 and a juror for this year’s Competition. Yu has won international acclaim for his astonishing technique and exceptional musical maturity. This spectacular concert will include a world premiere by Richmond native, Mason Bates, commissioned in honor of this year’s Competition.
