Portland, Ore., blues artist Mary Flower is renowned for her blend of ragtime, acoustic blues and rootsy folk styles. She earns raves from critics and audiences for lovely vocals, original compositions and especially her world-class finger-style guitar mastery. Her most recent release, “Misery Loves Company,” finds Flower as host to 11 musicians who join her for a series of duets, including jazz pianist Dave Frishberg and multi-instrumentalist Colin Linden.
