This event will demonstrate the clothing, gear and weapons of several rebellions in Virginia’s history. Volunteers will be representing Nathaniel Bacon’s rebels from 1676, Virginia’s Patriots in rebellion from the War for Independence from 1775-1783 and Virginia’s soldiers in the American Civil War from 1861-1865. Presentations and weapons demonstrations will be ongoing throughout the day.
