When: Sat., Sept. 1, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. 2018
Squirrels are a welcome reminder that we share our forests, parks, and yards with wildlife every day. Join us in the historic duPont Library to learn and identify different species of squirrels in eastern Virginia. Understand how squirrels communicate using vocal and visual signals, and then put your knowledge to the test! Take a guided hike across Stratford Hall and experience the numerous squirrels who call the grounds home. During the hike, information gathered about the Stratford Hall of squirrels will be reported to “Project Squirrel,” a citizen science project.
Price: $10 for adults.
