John Marshall, the Supreme Court and the Trail of Tears

In partnership with the University of Oklahoma Center for the Study of American Indian Law & Policy and the Virginia Museum of History & Culture, Preservation Virginia is hosting a symposium to discuss the legacy of Supreme Court decisions and their impact on Native American sovereignty. Speakers include Principal Chief Chuck Hoskin, Jr., of the Cherokee Nation and Chief Emeritus Kenneth Adams of the Upper Mattaponi.
