When: June 26-30, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. 2017
The Joan Oates Institute for Partners in the Arts prepares teachers of all subject areas to use differentiation, creative and experiential pedagogies, and collaboration to develop interdisciplinary lessons and unit plans. The institute is designed for teams of teachers, or individuals, of all subjects and grades. The focus is on how we teach, not what, so bring a mixed-content area group to develop an interdisciplinary unit. The week follows the structure of engaging creative thinkers framework with guided practice in using creativity in the classroom, with visiting experts and on field trips with community partners.
Price: $650-$950 noncredit, $800-$1,800 graduate credit.
