How did the colonists and the Powhatans plant and grow their gardens? How did they use the foods that they grew? Join in activities of seeding, weeding and cultivating not only food, but tobacco (both Powhatan and English). Participate in food trading and preparation activities. Experience a home school education program designed to help meet curriculum goals in a fun, interactive environment at a living history museum. Students will be divided by age to work on age-appropriate activities and curriculum. Registration is required by May 21 by calling 318-8797.
