The truth is subjective. Henley Street Theatre explores this theme in “Faith Healer” by Irish playwright Brian Friel. Part of the Acts of Faith Festival, it tells the story of the alcoholic, charismatic faith healer Frank, his companion, Grace, and his stage manager, Teddy, each of whom tell conflicting versions of the same story. Henley Street’s production stars local actors Joe Pabst, Katie McCall and Ron Reid. Following two Sunday performances, there will be two discussion sessions, which will examine the ideas in the play, with host Alex Evans, pastor of Second Presbyterian Church. “Faith Healer” opens Thursday, Jan. 31, at the SPARC Center for the Performing Arts and runs through Feb. 23. $20-$30. henleystreettheatre.org.
