Family friendly outdoor living history event at Patrick Henry's Scotchtown! On May 29th, Scotchtown will be hosting a very special program the whole family will enjoy as you experience what a detachment of Hanover Militia could have looked like at the outbreak of the American Revolution! Learn about The Gunpowder Plot of 1775 as over 30 costumed reenactors featuring Patrick Henry's Hanover Militia will be on site sharing 18th century historic foodways, fashion, music, encampments, drills and musket firing.
