Teddy Parham is among those gathered on a cold Friday to remember Farooq M. Bhimdi, owner of the Express Way convenience store on Mechanicsville Turnpike. He was gunned down inside the store Jan. 28. Activist Alicia Rasin clutched the hands of Bhimdi's daughters while more than 100 people recalled the well-liked Bhimdi, who had owned the store for more than 20 years. The next day, Henrico police arrested Jamon Burroughs, 19, charging him with Bhimdi's murder.
