* The Nature Center Discovery Party Package for ages 5 and older includes a 30-minute animal program and craft project in the Discovery Room; use of the Discovery Lab Party Room for one hour; goody bags for each child; Adopt a Living Thing certificate for the birthday child (on an animal of $100 adoption value or less); and admission to the Nature Center Exhibits. There is a 20-child maximum. The cost is $200. A refundable $50 cleaning/damage deposit is required. Maymont members receive a $25 discount.

* The Barn Party II/Program Only party package is for ages 5 and up. It includes a 30-minute farm animal program presented in the Children's Farm Party Room. There is a 20-child maximum. The cost is $75. Maymont members receive a $7 discount.

Horse & Carriage Birthdays

* For any age, the Horsing Around Party Package includes a private 30-minute carriage ride aboard a horse-drawn Maymont carriage; use of the Party Room in the Stone Barn; Adopt A Living Thing certificate for the birthday child (on an animal of $100 adoption value or less) and a 10% discount on party favors and gifts in the Maymont Shop on the day of the party. There is a 20-child maximum. The cost is $100 and Maymont members receive a $15 discount.

* The Horsing Around Party II/Carriage Ride only is for any age and includes a 30-minute carriage ride aboard a horse-drawn Maymont carriage. There is a 20-child maximum. The cost is $50. Maymont members receive a $5 discount.

Celebrate your child's birthday on the museum's Birthday Caboose. The party package is for 15 children (ages 4-12) and four adults. It includes use of the Birthday Caboose for one and a half hours, free admission to the Science Museum's exhibits and a 10% discount in the museum gift shop for all party goers. You bring the cake, ice cream, other party food and fixings. The cost is $100 for members and $150 for non-members. A $50 deposit is required at the time you make your reservation.
