"It Takes a Village"? Ugh. Edwin Slipek went off track on this one. I lived in Seaside, Fla., for several years and West Broad Village is no Seaside. Duany Plater-Zyberk & Co. would cringe. West Broad Village is nothing but parsley around the pig of suburban sprawl — chain stores, traffic and soulless corporate housing. As far as I am concerned, real urbanism is far more enticing and authentic.
