Dying isn’t a crime to Kevorkian Death Cycle — it’s a means to a dance floor end. The stylistic demises administered by the Riverside, California, industrial ensemble romanticize fatalistic pursuits. These musician-assisted-suicides get their goth-flavored ruinations from the champions of ’80s heavy burdens Skinny Puppy, Ministry, Nine Inch Nails and Front 242. Openly ostentatious, the sadomasochistic pathology by which Kevorkian Death Cycle dispenses its seething pleasures and pains is seductive. Keyboards dominate the mix with throbbing beats, swirling electronic embellishments and vocal whispers and screams punctuating and enabling the feeling-good-about-bad-thoughts aesthetic. Kevorkian Death Cycle plays Fallout on Sunday, July 5. Techno-industrial warriors Die Sektor from Atlanta and Baltimore cyber metalists Machines of Living Death open. Doors open at 8 p.m. Admission is $12-$15. falloutrva.com.
