Drive on Richmond Raceway Track for $20 Donation

Thursday event featuring former NASCAR champ Kurt Busch to raise money for Special Olympics.

Ever wondered what its like to drive your clunker around a renowned NASCAR track? Well for a $20 donation to Richmond Cares, you can find out what its like this Thursday, March 16 when local motorists can drive their own cars or trucks five paced laps around Richmond Raceway from 5 to 7 p.m.

Also, former 2004 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Kurt Busch will pace the field in the RR Toyota Camry pace car and "engage with those giving back to the Greater Richmond Community."

All proceeds will go to Special Olympics Virginia, according to a press release, in addition Richmond Area Toyota Dealers will match donations up to $10,000 for Special Olympics Virginia.

Richmond Raceway is located at 600 E. Laburnum Ave.
