A tongue-in-cheek version of those large, flashy 1930s Busby Berkeley-style musicals in which the naive chorus girl arrives in New York on the bus, steps into a role on Broadway and becomes a star. Lots of corny fun, lots of great singing and dancing, and, of course, a happy ending.
