Virginia requires owners to register dogs that have been ruled dangerous for biting, attacking or inflicting injury on a person or pet. Some Richmond-area dogs on the registry might live up to their names — such as Cujo and Makaveli, both Chesterfield County residents. But others just sound too sweet to be so mean.

Pastry the pit bull: "Dog bit several people."

Chuk-A-Buck the pit bull: "This dog seriously injured a neighbor's dog resulting in its death."

Princess the terrier mix: "Dog attacked another dog."

Happy the yellow Labrador: "Dog chased jogger and broke skin on the leg."
Passion the pit bull: "Attacked and injured another dog."
