Since the seemingly immediate success that followed their standout debut “August and Everything After” and the iconic '90s single, “Mr. Jones,” the Counting Crows have remained one of the most reliably solid acts in popular music. Led by Adam Duritz's emotively somber vocal delivery and angst-filled sense of disconnected loneliness, the band is just as capable with infectious melodies in ballad form (“A Long December,” “Amy Hit the Atmosphere”) as it is with a punchier tempo (“Angels of the Silences,” “Rain King,” “Mrs. Potter's Lullaby”). Still touring in support of their most recent album, 2008's “Saturday Nights & Sunday Mornings,” the Counting Crows are scheduled to perform at Innsbrook Pavilion on Sunday, July 11, at 6 p.m. $27-$50. 423-1775.
