When: Tue., June 4, 6-7:30 p.m. 2019
Learn more about the Richmond Court Appointed Special Advocate program. It’s an informal event, so feel free to stop by anytime between 6 and 7:30 p.m. Enjoy a beer, while discussing the CASA volunteer role with current volunteers and staff. There will be snacks. CASA volunteers are appointed by judges to advocate for children who have been abused or neglected. They make sure the children's needs are heard – in the community and in the courtroom – and serve as a caring, consistent adult in a child’s life.
