VCU's annual Cabell First Novelist Award celebrates an outstanding debut novel. This year's winner is Dawnie Walton, author of The Final Revival of Opal & Nev. Join us for a celebration of literature! The Award will feature a reading by Dawnie Walton, a moderated panel featuring the author, agent, and publisher, and book signings. The event is free and open to all and will be held in person but will also be live streamed through Zoom.
