Virginia Rep's "The Wiz" at the November Theatre Marjorie Arenstein Stage

A funkier Yellow Brick Road musical winds its way to Broad Street. Enjoy the classic children's novel set to the sounds of R&B, soul and pop, with central performances by Desiree Roots (Aunt Em, Addaperle and Evilene), Devonte Jerome Wells (Tin Man), Jerold Soloman (The Wiz and Uncle Henry) and Jessi Johnson as Glinda. Richmond Triangle Players' "Grey Gardens" at Robert B. Moss Theatre
June 14 – July 13
The Richmond Triangle Players close their season with the Central Virginia premiere of the musical based on the iconic documentary about Jacquie O.'s most infamous relatives. The production is directed by Debra Clinton with music direction by Kim Fox and vocal supervision by Stephen Rudlin, and features actors Susan Sanford, Grey Garrett and Boomie Pedersen. City of Richmond's parks and recreation production of "Matilda: the Musical" at Dogwood Dell

Come check out the musical based on the 1988 children's novel by Roald Dahl about a little girl with psycho-kinetic powers. Directed by Happy Mahaney with musical direction by Ben Miller and choreography by Ali Thibodeau. Free. All shows at 8:30 p.m.
