If you never saw the Talking Heads during their glory years, fear not. You have a second chance. The local tribute band Fear of Music, fronted by the husband and wife team of Nate (vocals and guitar) and Chrissie Griffith (bass and vocals) do a pitch-perfect job recreating the hits and deeper cuts from the funky, new-wave dance rock band that emerged in the late-’70s downtown New York scene. Fear of Music’s members have plenty of other bands that play original music, from keyboardist Bob Miller (Bio Ritmo) to drummer Dusty Ray Simmons (DJ Williams). But the best thing is that they’re visibly having fun making you dance — and that’s infectious. They don’t feel like a cover band. They feel like a party.
