Some have lived at the veterinary office for 13 years. Cages by the walls also have a few cats awaiting adoption, like Maude, a sweet gray tabby. Sharon Hubbard, practice manager, says that more than a thousand cats and dogs have been adopted out of Betty Baugh’s. “Hopefully, you won’t have to wait long,” she says, “but if you do, you’ve got plenty to look at.”
