Second Place: The Camel

Third Place: Innsbrook Pavilion

Winning again is the National, a 1,500-person venue known for its mix of nationally known touring acts such as Weezer, Queens of the Stone Age and the Pixies, as well as comedians, DJs, and the ever-popular Legwarmers, an '80s tribute act. The venue even got a dubious mention on TMZ, when a female concertgoer interrupted a quiet ballad by one of the Hanson brothers in order to scream out her desire to lick a certain private part of his anatomy that rhymes with "faint." The Camel is a favorite venue for hometown bands that features the all-important dedicated sound guy. And Camel owner Rand Burgess just opened a new, larger venue, Broadberry, which may start showing up in future poll results. Innsbrook Pavilion is home to the outdoor summer series that appeals to a slightly older crowd with more top 40, country artists and former '90s bands such as Everclear.
