Not to be confused with Filthy Richmond, Brian McDaniel's Dirty Richmond is a Tumblr blog dedicated to shining a friendly light on "street style, fashion and life in Richmond, Virginia." The result is a thoughtful and ongoing peek at a small slice of Richmond culture. Perhaps inadvertently, it's also managed to become a statement on the fallacy we Southerners are — sartorially, anyway — behind the times. Young House Love is a media darling, a couple who offers advice on making your house a home, and the Cheats Movement is getting attention for keeping an eye on local pop culture and entertainment.
