It’s been a roller-coaster ride for Alex Glaser, who entered the real estate business in 2009 — which, as you may recall, was not the most auspicious time to do so — and now he’s on track to sell 100 houses by the end of this year, a first for him. “For us personally, it’s the busiest we’ve ever been,” says Glaser, who runs the Glaser Group with his wife, Lauren. “I feel like there’s a lot of pent-up demand.” Glaser has advice for buyers in this strong sellers’ market: Talk to the listing agent and offer more than the asking price, but don’t waive the home inspection. Also of note for animal lovers: Starting this year, the Glasers contribute to the Richmond Animal League every time they make a sale.
