Bevins has been host since 1995; the two will mark 10 years as an on-air team in September. Chemistry = top ratings. “We’re very good friends, there’s nothing forced about it,” Bevins says. Plus, they’re locals. “He went to Meadowbrook, I went to Lee-Davis,” Perkins says. “So there’s this sense of, ‘This really is our town.’”
