Casey Heatherley specializes in "dry cutting" curly hair, a technique she picked up in New York. She also is known for accepting all comers — men, women, straight, curly, watermelon-headed, whatever. "I feel like I try to take on any hair and just give the customer what they want," Heatherley says. The co-worker she shares the honor with, Jillian Edwards Woolcott, is no slouch herself. She can do it all, but she loves bob cuts, with a dash of color. "We love to do highlights and color and specialize in curly — I tend to like more classic styles. I love bobs," Woolcott says. "I love to do every variation there is of a bob. I just think anyone can wear it." MaryJo Myers-Battison is owner of Imago on West Main Street. And Autumn Carter is owner of Red Salon Organics in the Fan.
