For 26 years, Dr. Jo Bohannon-Grant has been winning the respect of her dermatology patients without advertising and through word of mouth. “We love our patients,” adds her son, Gordon Bohannon, who is administrative assistant at the practice, Midlothian Dermatology. Dr. Bohannon-Grant emigrated from Cuba in 1962 and is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the College of William and Mary. She did her residency training at the Medical College of Virginia and is a pioneer in laser and microdermabrasion technologies. The other winners in the category are no slouches. Dr. Victoria Gross is a Yale Medical School graduate and Dr. Georgia Seely has taught at the Medical College of Virginia.
